Case study: Impeller

IMPELLER

Impeller is a social enterprise which delivers specialist training and compliance services both in the UK and internationally.

Its areas of expertise include fire service training, safety and compliance and workplace training including first aid and mental health.

Despite Impeller already having an established brand and reputation, they felt that their communications did not reflect the quality and professionalism of the business and would need to be overhauled in order to remain competitive.

WEB DESIGN

Impeller’s existing website was out of date and confusing for customers. It failed to showcase the company’s range of services and didn’t support online bookings or payments, making the customer journey highly convoluted and confusing.

The business wanted to showcase their impressive range of services and to provide a better online experience for their customers.

We created a brand-new, user-friendly website, making Impeller’s services the key focus in a more intuitive and accessible layout. We also added a secure online payment facility which both improved the customer journey and increased productivity for the business.

SUB-BRAND CREATION, DESIGN AND PRINT

To highlight and better communicate Impeller’s offer to customers, we worked with them to rearticulate their brand architecture, creating colour coded sub-brands which not only distinguished the courses they offer but also emphasised the multi-faceted services they provide.

Based on this new visual redirection, we designed and created the following new digital and print collateral:

  • Social media account branding
  • Mailchimp templates
  • Corporate stationery
  • Range of A4 services inserts
  • Infographics
  • Publication adverts
Working with dodio has really helped us to articulate our offer to customers. Not only has it improved our communication with customers, but it has also provided a clear framework and marketing collateral for our sales activity.”
