Highly Efficient Heating is a long-standing client of dodio, having worked with us for over two years. During that time, we have provided a range of expertise to the business, helping to place it in a strong position at the forefront of the regional heating and plumbing market.
STRATEGY AND PLANNING
When we were first approached by Highly Efficient Heating, the owners were looking to grow the business and expand its reach across the North East by enhancing its online presence and utilising the digital tools at its disposal. By undertaking detailed competitor research, customer analysis and strategy workshops with the business, we were able to identify the company’s USPs, how to connect with its target market and to set realistic and measurable targets, and we encapsulated this in a comprehensive marketing strategy.
We knew that one of the first steps to developing an effective online presence was to develop a cache of assets with which to demonstrate Highly Efficient Heating’s offer and the personality of the brand. We conducted a number of photoshoots with the business to capture images to support the various strands of their marketing and communications strategy. These included press shots, team photography, product photography and promotional showroom shots as well as generic assets to aid the development of creatives for blogs and social media posts.
The development of Highly Efficient Heating’s website was one of the first deliverables in their marketing strategy. Initially, they wanted the site to focus on showcasing the range of services the business offers, as well as to promote its service plans to potential customers. We have since worked continuously alongside the company’s management to develop the website further, bringing it inline with leading industry competitors in terms of its capabilities and functionality. The site now includes an online TrueQuote calculator, to enable potential customers to get an instant boiler quote in just a few clicks. We have also enhanced the site in line with UX design principles, enhancing the user experience and increasing conversion rates.
We monitor the site using Google Analytics to provide a regular update to the client on the performance of the site, and to make recommendations for tweaks and improvements and to help steer the direction of the business’ marketing campaigns.
CAMPAIGNS AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
We currently act as an extension of the Highly Efficient Heating team, developing and delivering the company’s marketing campaigns and social media activity. We have developed a sound understanding of the sector in the two years that we have been working with the business, identifying trends and developments to drive proactive campaigns using a blend of platforms and media.
We developed a content marketing strategy for Highly Efficient Heating to stimulate interest in the brand and its products and services through a range of written content, creatives, promotions and social media posts.
We continue to work with the business, providing ongoing marketing support and delivering regular website improvements and developments through our website hosting, security and maintenance package.
