After established online-based cladding company Bathroom Cladding Direct developed a sister brand encompassing several showrooms across the North East, it sought dodio’s expertise in developing a new marketing strategy.
dodio helped Decor Cladding Direct to secure NBSL funding to develop their marketing strategy and to identify and deliver ways to improve the user experience of their website.
We worked with Décor Cladding Direct to understand the needs of the business and undertook extensive customer research to identify the online behaviours of their target market. This enabled us to develop an effective marketing and communications plan, providing evidence-based recommendations which would improve the customer experience and utilise social media more effectively. We also developed new brand guidelines to support showroom franchising.
User Experience (UX) and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
Décor Cladding Direct wanted to boost traffic to its website and increase online sales. By setting up a detailed analytics report, we were able to track how users interacted with the website and identify ways to improve the user experience. We made enhancements to both the functionality and aesthetics of the website by adding additional payment options earlier in the buying process and optimising the site for mobile.
Google Adwords and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
To drive more traffic to the website, we developed effective Google Shopping and AdWords campaigns and undertook professional product photography and copywriting for adverts.
This resulted in improvements across the customer life-cycle, with an increased click-through rate from effective Google Shopping and AdWords campaigns implemented, and increased conversions by improving the user experience of the website. We continue to manage DCD’s Google Shopping Adverts and its pay-per-click (PPC) activity, providing regular analytics reports and making evidence-based recommendations.
