Job title: Social Media Executive

The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to join our close-knit and friendly team. We’re looking for someone who can coordinate and deliver engaging social media strategies on behalf of our clients and bring some creative energy to our own social media activity.

You will have excellent copywriting skills and experience of developing engaging and accessible content and will work with the team to produce brand-relevant photography, design and video assets.

You’ll lead the approach to social media campaigns including audience targeting and reporting and you’ll develop KPIs to assess and monitor campaign success.

You will pay keen attention to detail, checking, editing and proofing your own work and managing several social media accounts across multiple platforms using scheduling software such as Cloud Campaign, Hootsuite and Monday.

You’ll also liaise with clients and key stakeholders on a regular basis.

The role is initially available with a 6 month contract but with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.

About you
Required skills and experience;
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills

  • Knowledge of Social Media Channels and their analytics systems

  • Facebook

  • Twitter

  • Instagram

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Attention to detail

  • Self motivated

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good understanding of marketing principles and techniques

  • Knowledge of working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint or Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

  • Familiarity with SEO
Desirable skills and experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role or within a digital agency setting

  • Experience of social media channels and their analytics systems.

  • Linkedin

  • TikTok

  • Snapchat

  • Facebook\Instagram ad management

  • A marketing qualification

  • Delivery of paid social media strategies and campaigns

  • Understanding of Google Analytics

  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud programs

  • Experience using Canva

  • Driving licence and vehicle
Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Management of all social media channels for dodio and our clients.
  • Lead the approach to social media campaigns including audience targeting and reporting

  • Curate and create engaging social media content and briefing the team on supporting media requirements

  • Develop KPIs to assess and monitor campaign success

  • Collaborate with the team on new projects and on the development of client strategies

  • Management of paid social media marketing campaigns

  • Scheduling of posts

  • Liaising with clients and key stakeholders, via email, telephone and in person

  • Continued research of audience preferences and current trends

  • Writing copy for web and print

£20000 – £22000 (pro rata)
