The latest in our series of Interviews introduces our new junior designer, Daniel Hoare.
Where did you grow up?
I was born in Leeds, but only lived there for 2 years. I spent the rest of my life growing up in Whitley Bay near Newcastle, yet somehow I haven’t picked up a Geordie accent – I blame my posh Dad.
What is your role at dodio?
I am the Junior Designer at Dodio and my role involves helping out Jameson as much as possible with the design process and creative thinking for client briefs.
What is your favourite food?
I am a massive foodie and would eat almost anything put in front of me, but if I had to say my favourite it would probably be a Calzone pizza or Chicken Parmesan. I also have a mild addiction to Diet Coke.
What is your party trick?
I am not one for party tricks, but I do know one magic trick (which isn’t very good)
How did you come to work at dodio?
I came across the job online and after reading a bit about the role and about Dodio, I thought it was the perfect job for me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, I play football every week and I also go to my local gym regularly. I love seeing and experiencing new places, so I love to travel whenever I get the opportunity.
Best thing about working at dodio?
No two days are the same at Dodio and I am getting to work with a great team and learn something new everyday.
When you were younger, what did you want to when you grew up?
I have always wanted to be a professional footballer, hoping to play for Newcastle United one day. Unfortunately my aspiring football career didn’t pan out how I had hoped, but it’s all worked out for the best because I thoroughly enjoy being a Graphic Designer.
Whats your plan for 2019?
I want to further improve myself as a designer, and hope to work on new and exciting client briefs and create great design work.
